Our Founder – Sophie O’Neill

Sophie graduated from TAFE New England with a Diploma in Health Science for Remedial Massage in 2003.

After working in the massage industry for several years Sophie returned to Tamworth in 2007 and started working on creating Tamworth Remedial Massage Centre.

"I always wanted to work surrounded by other passionate and like-minded health practitioners that work together to provide our community with exceptional professional health care and have fun doing it"

In 2015 her passion for helping people led her down a more specialised path to further studies in Oncology Massage and  Lymphatic Drainage.

"I’ve seen so many clients affected by cancer in my years as a Massage Therapist, and our community was crying out for more specialised services. I felt like I could really make a difference and I believe I am. I couldn't have done it without the support of the Tamworth Serendipity Committee and I couldn't continue to do it without the support of Jody” (our other amazing OM Therapist)

Sophie also offers Remedial Massage/ Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Cupping and Pregnancy Massage.

Sophie’s clientele has expanded exponentially since opening TRMC due to the passion for what she does and her strong community involvement and dedication and rapport with all those she helps.
